Hey Neighbor!

Last week, we discussed how God often sends His ‘spokesperson’ forth to communicate prophetic messages to many Kings, and also to his appointed messengers!!
Oftentimes, these prophets are instructed to go forth and to communicate these prophetic messages via some very dramatic, and physical antics!!
We discussed how God had sent the Prophet, Samuel to Saul to communicate that He was indeed going to ‘tear’ the kingdom from Saul’s hands, and hand it over to David!!
God used His prophet to communicate this message to King Saul via a symbolic, and prophetic act of, ‘tearing’ away of a section of Samuel’s cloak.
We also discussed how God sent forth his prophet, Ahijah to ‘tear’ his own new garment into twelve (12) separate pieces, and for Ahijah to hand ten of those pieces over to the first King appointed to the North, Jerobaom!!
‘Ahijah’ was last week’s Name That Prophet, Answer!!👏👏👏
Now what was the reason for Ahijah’s public antics??
Well, Ahijah made multiple tears in his garment to prophetically represent God ‘tearing’ away the kingdom from Solomon, and God’s division of the unified kingdom, into North and South!!
*****************************************
Well, Who is Today’s overly dramatic Prophet??
As instructed, this particular prophet took a certain man’s belt and tied himself up with it…about his own (the prophet’s) hands and feet!!
It’s not easy being being a prophet, huh??🤣

Can You Name This Prophet??

The answer is Agabus .
Acts 21:10-11
10Several days later a man named Agabus, who also had the gift of prophecy, arrived from Judea. 11He came over, took Paul’s belt, and bound his own feet and hands with it. Then he said, “The Holy Spirit declares, ‘So shall the owner of this belt be bound by the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem and turned over to the Gentiles.’” 12When we heard this, we and the local believers all begged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem

Tam where’d my comment go that I just typed. I remembered it was a prophet in Acts speaking to Paul about his arrest. Talking to Daddy again and he said Agabus. Now I’m getting a bible commentary about Paul and his life. 🤣🤣😅😅

It was the prophet who wanted to tell Paul not to go back to his city because he was going to be arrested. Gonna look for his name!
