The Blame Game!!

– And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate. And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and deceived) me, and I ate-
(Genesis 3:12)

Hey Neighbor!

This is another Story that Joyce Meyer reads at her conferences.
I like this one because, it gives a great representation of…
‘The Blame Game.’

Here’s the Story…

This is a story about Four People named, Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to do and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could’ve done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job.

You See, Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it!

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody, when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Funny… Huh??

****************************************

You Know the Blame Game originated in the Garden of Eden.

Eve blamed the Serpent for beguiling her…Adam blamed Eve for sharing the forbidden fruit with him…And Adam even blamed God for making the Woman and giving her to him…Lol!!

You see, Adam and Eve Were placed in the Garden with a job to do:

-And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
(Genesis 1:28)

So Just like the Four People in today’s story…

Adam Had a Job to do- But, he did’t do it!!

Eve had a job to do- but, she didn’t do it!!

When they failed to do their jobs, following God’s orders – his commands – they blamed one another and even blamed God!!

And the Blame Game Continued from there…

This Week We are going to Discuss some more ‘Finger Pointing’ Bible Characters, and How they refused to accept responsibility for their own, ‘On-the-Job’ Faith-Failures.

Tomorrow, We will Discuss the Failures of King Saul!!

We will discover Who 👈🏽and/or the 👉🏽Whats that King Saul blamed for his Failure as King of Israel!

Until Tomorrow…Remember,

God Loves You and So Do I!!

  1. 💕Amen Brother, Joseph! It really takes some spiritual maturity in The Holy Spirit to be able to say…I am the one at Fault…and Please forgive me Lord🙏🏾

  2. Nice one Tam. Taking personal responsibility isn’t something that everyone is trained to do. Good parenting models these characters and teaches children the need to take responsibility for their actions. The world system teaches self people to be self centred and encourages people to do whatever makes them feel good, no matter the consequences or outcomes. Then people blame even God when their choices lead to bad outcomes. 🙏🏾💖❤️

  4. Not my fault , it is your fault is the motto of every narcissist and the won’t let the truth get in the way. They know they are wrong but too proud and arrogant to admit it.
