– And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance (1Sa 17:42)
Hey Neighbor!

– And when he cut the hair of his head, he weighed it–for at each year“s end he cut it, because its weight was a burden to him–and it weighed 200 shekels by the king“s weight. (2Sa 14:26)
– And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; (Judges 16:19)
In the three scriptures above, we are given the physical descriptions of several well-known Bible characters.
First, we meet the shepherd-boy David in 1st Samuel; and we learn that he had a healthy, reddish (ruddy) color, just before he battled with Goliath.
We even meet young Absalom, in 2nd Samuel, David’s eldest son, who was blessed with a most abundant head of hair, which ultimately contributed to his demise in battle.
And finally, we are given a description of the Nazarite, Samson, in The Book of Judges, whose head had never been shaven since his birth; just prior to him loosing those seven luxurious locks in the shears belonging to Delilah.
Now There is another Character in the Bible who is also described by his head; or certainly by the utter lack thereof.
He is described in the scriptures as the ‘bald-headed’ prophet.

Answer: Elisha
“So the water has been healed to this day, according to the word that Elisha spoke. He went up from there to Bethel, and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” And he turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys.” 2 Kings 2:22-24 ESV
My pastor mentioned this encounter, in a sermon about 10 years ago. 🙏🏽

That’s good though, he has much to learn, and he’s young. Being left handed may be an advantage later on!

I think he did well, considering It was his very first game, with his newly drilled ball, and plus he’s a lefty! But he was disappointed within himself though☺️ We’re working on that optimism thing😄

Elisha
“…So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake. 23And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
