How To Walk With God!!

-So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) KJV

Hey, Neighbor!

We all recognize the name, Abraham, the Father of our Faith, from the Book of Genesis…. However, his name wasn’t Always Abraham and he wasn’t Always Full-of-Faith.

Abram had a difficult time believing God.

It happens to the best of us….But bless God that He is patient with us and continues to reveal himself in our hearts, causing us to hold on tighter to what we believe.

Now, If God reveals Himself to us by His Word, shouldn’t we be diligent, on Our walk with Him, to keep reading, and hearing…and hearing His Word…thus, increasing Our faith.

Take a moment to look at Abraham’s
“Faith Walk.”
(Gen. 17:16-17)

He laughed in the Face of God!!
(And Lived)

Wow!! Yes!!…Abraham, the Father of our Faith, fell on the ground, laughing in response to God’s promise to give him a son at the ripened age of 100.

No…Abraham was not always full of faith. His name was Abram and he diligently walked with God, as He lead him into places he had never seen; to do things he had never done.

Abram took a “Faith Walk” with God, and somewhere along that 25 year walk, he finally believed God.

Abram walked from faith – to faith; hearing and hearing God’s Words; over and over again.

God fulfilled His promises to and through Abram…and God not only called Abram, “Righteous,” because he finally believed, but He also called him “Father of Many Nations.” – thus changing his name to Abraham.

You know What??

Our God has a sense of humor….He goes on to bless Abraham with that son He promised him…and God called his son “Laughter” – (Isaac).

Oh God! Give me Your grace to continue on my faith walk with You. I just want to hear Your voice, Lord, speaking to my heart. Lead me in the paths of righteousness and call my name, ‘Faith-FULL.’

I’m ready to receive the fulfillment of your promises, with a heart filled with Joy and ‘Laughter.’

Amen!!

Now You can take a closer Walk with God…Pickup Your Bible and Read It.

Read it Aloud- and Hear God’s Words and Be Blessed!

Thanks For Stopping By Today!!

Bible Trivia Thursday- Life Beyond 120!!

Hey Neighbor!

I was talking with a friend just the other day about how Moses had lived a full life and even though Moses never got the chance to step his foot onto the Promised Land, his eyesight was still sharp and he still had a spring in his step at 120 years old.

Moses maxed out his livelihood at 120, according to Genesis 6:3, where God tells us that He was done putting up with humans for hundreds and hundreds of years.

Prior to that, Adams descendants- all the way up to Noah lived extremely long lives. Like Seth who lived to be 912 years old, or even Lamech who lived for 782 years.

Did you know that Lamech also had a son named, Methuselah, who is on record for having lived the longest life ever??

Can you guess how old Methuselah was when he gave up the ghost??

***********************************

Now What about these Patriarchs and their sons??

  • Abraham
  • Ishmael
  • Isaac
  • Jacob
  • Joseph

How old were they when they gave up their ghosts??  And Can you Place them in Chronological order according to the length of their lifespans??

For Example:

1. Methuselah(969) 2. Seth(912) 3. Lamech (782)

**********************************

I’m pretty Sure You Are Going To Need Your Bibles for this one!!

And no cheating with your Bible apps or internet🤣

Have Fun!!  I will Post Answers for You This ‘Solution’ Saturday- 4/9

Thanks For Stopping By!!

Super-Faith Sunday Answer – ‘Faith-full’ Sarah

Hey Neighbor!

It’s Tuesday, and Today I have your Super-Faith Sunday Answer!!

*****************************

Now what kind of answer do you give your husband when he wakes you up at the crack of dawn and then ushers you to quickly pack a bag and says, “Let’s go!!

As she wipes the sleep from her barely opened eyes, she says, “Abe, Where are we going??”

We know that his Answer could have only been – “I don’t know yet, baby…but come on…let’s go!”

Now this is a really good wife right here – This Sarai!!

She could have rolled right on over and told this man to lay his crazy tail down, but instead she ‘faith-fully’ and dutifully grabs her most essential things and follows her husband.

In Hindsight, we know that Sarai and Abram were headed to the land of Canaan, but at that time, they were leaving Haran, with no destination in mind, merely following the command of a voice that they did not recognize.

This was a new kind of ‘god’ to them- not one of their voiceless and sedentary images that they were accustomed to worshipping

This one spoke- and quite powerfully too, but not in a scary or spooky sort of way, but most emphatically!!

God had called Abram, awakening Him with the Words, “Go!”

  • NOW [in Haran] the Lord said to Abram, Go for yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father“s house, to the land that I will show you. (Genesis 12:1)

Now – I’m pretty sure I just heard Him say Go, but He didn’t really say- Where??

That’s Right!! God was doing what I call His, ‘walk by faith thing.’ In other words…

Trust My Words for now- and I will fill in the gaps later!!

Now, These ‘Words’ were spoken to Abram- not Sarai. Of course we know Lot is just along for the ride- Now that’s another story for another day-🫖 Because Today, I am suppose to be telling You about Sarah!!

So this ‘faith-full’ wife follows her husband…

Who is following an unknown voice…

and Lot is following them!!

Wow!!

But Seriously Now- Abraham has heard the voice of The One True and Living God- The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it -The Lord of heaven and earth!!

Abraham has heard God and has believed- and because Sarah is a loving , patient, and ‘faith-full’ wife, She will follow this Man wherever His God leads him!!

Whether it be to Egypt – Where Abe Gives her away to Pharaoh, saying “She is my sister!”

Or Whether it be to Gerar- Where once again, Abe Gives her to another king, Abimilech, saying, “She is my sister!”

Sounds like a Story we would hear about on Divorce Court- huh??

But let’s have a little Patience with Old Abe, after all- He is still following God!!

In fact, Abe has established a relationship with God and the Two of them are bonding- although Abe makes a mess from time to time!!

Now Sarah, is still following her husband and during those 25 years at his heels,

She has gone along with the ‘She’s my Sister’, act!! (partially true)

She has gone along with the name change thing!! Sarai vs Sarah!!

She has heard all the Promises!! (second-hand)

But Sarai still has had no visit from God, nor a son- as promised!!

She grew impatient, angry, disappointed, and extremely jealous because of Abe and Hagar and their son, Ishmael!!

You see…All the riches that she received in Egypt and in Gerar were not enough to fill her empty womb…Until God Shows Up for Sarah!!

Yes!! Finally! A One-on-One visit with God!!

No!! Not with Abraham as a ‘go-between!’

God shows up in Sarah’s life and gives her His Personal Promise!!

And unlike Abe, When God makes a Promise, He Keeps It!!

God Gave Sarah a Son and Called Him Laughter!!

Why Laughter??

You see when God showed up the year prior, visiting Abe, and promising him a child through Sarah…Sarah heard all these things and Laughed!!

-And the Lord asked Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I really bear a child when I am so old? (Genesis 18:13)

Well, Sarah denied that she Laughed!!

After all, She was 89 years old!!

But just one year later, God Showed and Proved Himself in Sarah’s life – breaking through her stubborn unbelief!!

God showed Sarah that nothing is impossible with Him, and that nothing is too hard or too wonderful for the Lord!!

Sarah, like Abraham, was now a firm, and righteous believer in The Almighty God!!

He was no longer ‘Abraham’s God,’ but He was now Sarah’s God- And That Same God called Sarah, ‘Faith-Full!!’

-Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of peace. I will give him rest from all his enemies round about; for his name shall be Solomon [peaceable], and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days. (1Chronicles 22:9)

Hey Neighbor!

Today is Saturday 3/26/2022 and I have Answers from This weeks Trivia Thursday Challenge.

Much Thanks this Week to Beverley from her Blog, ’Becoming the Oil and the Wine’ 👏👏👏

As well as my Loving husband, Dewitt. 👏👏👏

Both of Whom commented how this weeks Trivia kept them on their toes🤪- particularly Question #4.

Well, The Lord gave me a lesson while I was crafting the questions. Per usual, I was hoping to include the Mom’s names in the Trivia questions, and Oh boy did I have to ’go-a-hunting’ to find King Josiah’s momma – Jedidah!!

(2 Kings 22:1)🙃🤯🤪

Anyway….this was really fun for me and I pray that You enjoyed it as well😎

Here are Your Answers:

************************************

  1. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Sarah. God ‘pre-named’ him, Isaac (Laughter) Genesis 17:19
  2. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of ‘Uriah’s Wife.’ God ‘pre-named’ him, Solomon (Peaceable) 1 Chronicles 22:9 [Solomon was ’nicknamed’ Jedidiah (beloved of the Lord) after his birth] 2 Samuel 12:25
  3. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Elizabeth. God ‘pre-named’ him, John [The Baptist] (God is Favorable) Luke 1:13
  4. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Jedidah (mother.) God ‘pre-named’ him, Josiah 1 Kings 13:2
  5. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the Son of Mary. God ‘pre-named’ Him, Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior]) Matthew 1:21

Bible Trivia Thursday- God ’Pre-named’ Him!!

Hey Neighbor!

It’s 3/24/2022 and Today is Trivia Thursday!!

This week we have been learning about God’s ‘faith-full’ servant, Hagar.  Now Hagar was Abram’s Egyptian concubine who bore him his very first child.

Remember, It was in the wilderness, after Hagar had taken flight from her mistress, Sarai that she was confronted by the Angel of the Lord, who told her that she was going to have a baby boy and his name would be called, ‘God Hears’ – or Ishmael.

Now this was the first time that We’ve seen God ‘pre-name’ someone in the Bible; Yes – Named by God before birth!!
Again – First time, but not the last!!

In fact, Abraham will become the Father of several more ‘pre-named’ descendants, who were blessed with ‘God-given’ names before they had even exited their mother’s womb – and at other times, before the child had ever been conceived!!

Thus – Today’s Trivia Thursday Challenge –

Can You identify Abraham’s ‘Pre-named’ descendants, by matching the son with his mother??

Ex: He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Hagar. God ‘pre-named’ him, Ishmael.

Grab Your Bibles and Have Fun!!

************************************

  1. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Sarah. God ‘pre-named’ him, ____________________.
  2. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of ‘Uriah’s Wife.’ God ‘pre-named’ him, _______________________.
  3. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Elizabeth. God ‘pre-named’ him, ______________________.
  4. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the son of Jedidah. God ‘pre-named’ him, _______________________.
  5. He was a descendant of Abraham, and He was the Son of Mary. God ‘pre-named’ Him, _______________________.

God’s ’Faith-full’ Servant- Hagar!!

And He said, Hagar, Sarai“s maid, where did you come from, and where are you intending to go? And she said, I am running away from my mistress Sarai.  (Genesis 16:8)

Hey Neighbor!

Yesterday we unveiled our ‘Faith-full’ Female of the Week – Hagar.

First, I have to say thanks to Beverley, from her blog – ‘Becoming the Oil and the Wine’ for submitting another correct answer to our Super Faith Sunday Challenge- where each week – we highlight 1 ’faith-full’ female from the Bible.

Beverley is 2 For 2!! 💕💕

Thanks so much, Beverley👏👏👏👏

Now when we first meet Hagar she was simply an Egyptian servant girl, gifted to Abram in exchange for Sarai.

Now this is of course before God sent Abraham (father of a multitude) and Sarah (Princess) down to the Social Security Office to document their official name changes.🤣 (Genesis 17:5, 15)

You do Remember that God changed both of their names, but that’s a story for another day…today we are focusing on Hagar, Abram, and Sarai!!

Now while Sarai and Abram were temporarily living in Egypt, Pharaoh had taken Sarai into his harem, convinced by Abram that Sarai was nothing more than his beloved sister!!

I know- Abram and Sarai were ‘extra,’ as the kids like to say!! 😂

I guess that’s why God changed their names – to settle those two down – Lol!

So Anyway, Let’s try to stay focused on Hagar- She was a handmaid gifted to Abram in Egypt, as a sort of dowry from Pharoah to Abram, in exchange for Sarai joining his harem.

She (Hagar) accompanied Abram and Sarai and their caravan of sheep, oxen, he-donkeys, menservants, maidservants, she-donkeys, and camels departing from Egypt…After a plague-afflicted Pharaoh ran them both out of town for their ‘tall tales!’- 🤯I will spill tea on this another day🫖

So at this point Abram remained childless, and Sarai remained barren.

But Sarai had a bright idea 💡

She decided to give Abram her Egyptian  Handmaid, Hagar to wife (secondary), in hopes that Hagar would conceive a child by Abram and thus, she would serve as a surrogate mother for Abram’s son and heir.

This was not a God-Approved Idea!!

Well, Sarai didn’t have to exert too much effort in order to convince Abram to go along with her hair-brained scheme and before you know it…Hagar is pregnant!!

Now after Hagar conceived, as my mother would’ve said, “Sarai had gotten beside herself!’

She looked down her nose at Sarai- forgetting her place- She was still just a servant and only a secondary wife, but Hagar was exalted in her own eyesight.

Now when Sarai complained to Abram- the two of them played the blame game for a while- Until a vengeful Sarai, once again takes matters into her own hands.

Now after being harshly afflicted by a ‘wrath-filled,’ overly-impassioned Sarai, Hagar runs as far as she can from home- hoping to run as far as Egypt!!

But no matter how far Hagar had attempted to run to get away from Sarai- She could not outrun God!!

God saw Hagar!!

And although she felt inclined to run from her mistress, in her self-exalted mindset, God had not approved of Hagar’s misguided departure.

God spoke to Hagar, calling her, “Sarai’s maid,” Reminding her that for 10 years, she had been blessed and favored in Abram’s household as a servant, until she permitted pride to overtake her.

The Angel of the Lord admonished her and encouraged Hagar to repent- and to turn away from Egypt, and the Godless, idolatrous lifestyle that she had once known and instead….now take up His yoke of humility and return to her husband Abram, and submit to her mistress, Sarai!

Trusting that He had seen her tears, and had heard her complaints about her mistress, if she would receive Him as her Lord, He would watch over her and give her a hope for the future and a prosperous outcome for her offspring.

  • See now, you are with child and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael [God hears], because the Lord has heard and paid attention to your affliction.  (Genesis 16:11)

God had called Hagar out of Egypt for a purpose, and her future was pre-destined for God’s plans and purposes!!

Hagar Believed God’s spoken promise, taking  hold of it as an undeserved gift!!

After she had returned to herself, Hagar realized how blessed she had been in God’s presence. The very same God, whom her husband Abram had worshipped daily, He had now seen and acknowledged her- showing His love and concern for her, a lowly Egyptian handmaid.

In recognition of her transformational encounter with God, Hagar memorialized the well of water where she had met The Angel of the Lord as, ‘Beer-lahai-roi’- A well to the Living One Who sees me (Genesis 16:14)

Super Faith Sunday Answer- Who is She??

-So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulders, and he sent her and the youth away. And she wandered on [aimlessly] and lost her way in the wilderness of Beersheba- (Genesis 21:14)

Today is 3/22/2022 and I have Our Super Faith Sunday Challenge Answer:

Who is She??

Hagar

*************
“What is Troubling You?”

These are the words that Hagar heard from heaven after she had been thrown out… banished…and abandoned…both her and her little boy…
-from her husband, her home and all that she had become familiar with and accustomed to-

Her husband, Abraham, had put her away…
Her son, Ishmael had been turned away by his father…
It appeared that they were all alone…and scripture tells us that Hagar and the young boy wandered in the wilderness, aimlessly.

Where would they Go?

What would they Do?

Who would open their doors to them and have mercy on this homeless mother and her fatherless child?

Hagar was hopeless and afraid!!

Abraham had sent her away with only bread and a bottle of water. He placed it upon her shoulders early that morning, before bidding her farewell.

She had been a ‘thorn in the side’ to Abraham and Sarah…stirring up strife in their marriage and stirring up jealousy in her son, towards his brother Isaac.

Sarah had finally reached her breaking point…Demanding that this bondwoman and her son be cast out and away from her sight.

Abraham loved Ishmael and reluctantly acknowledged his wife, Sarah’s request. It was only because God had spoken to Abraham…confirming that he must do what Sarah had asked, that Abe grievously sent them away.

So as Hagar wandered aimlessly in the wilderness, with no real destination in mind…she lost her way…and had run out of water.

How could she and her son survive or sustain themselves in the blistering conditions of the desert with no water and no refuge??

Hagar could see no hope in sight…as her eyes were likely, filled with tears and her head hung low in despair…But God saw Hagar and God loved both Hagar and Ishmael…and showed them His mercy and His lovingness.
He called out to Hagar from Heaven and He opened Her eyes…revealing a well of water.

She had nearly given up…having distanced herself from the boy and placing him under a shrub…fearing that he would be overcome from by the sun and the heat…Ishmael’s Mother could not bear to watch him wither away and die from dehydration.

Hagar treaded off and sat down in despair, away from Ishmael and raised up her voice and wept…as her young son also lifted up his voice and cried out…probably for his mother…Then God heard them both!!

God had not abandoned them…He was with Hagar and Ishmael and He quenched their thirsts…and spared their lives and fulfilled His promise to make Ishmael into a great nation.

-Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water; and she went and filled the [empty] bottle with water and caused the youth to drink. And God was with the youth, and he developed; and he dwelt in the wilderness and became an archer. He dwelt in the Wilderness of Paran; and his mother took a wife for him out of the land of Egypt- (Genesis 21:19-21)

God’s ‘Faith-Full’ Daughter – Rebekah!!

I have loved you, says the Lord. Yet you say, How and in what way have You loved us? Was not Esau Jacob“s brother? says the Lord; yet I loved Jacob (Israel), But [in comparison with the degree of love I have for Jacob] I have hated Esau [Edom] and have laid waste his mountains, and his heritage I have given to the jackals of the wilderness (Malachi 1:2)

Hey Neighbor!

Yesterday, We unveiled our ‘Faith-Full’ Female of the Week, Rebekah- Who learned during her ultrasound with God 😂🤣 that she was pregnant with twin boys.

But Rebekah could not understand why the babies struggled so, and fought with one another in her womb. God told her that the two boys were fighting for the rights of the firstborn son- and contrary to the ordinary expectation-God had chosen her second born son, Jacob!!

You see…God Loved Jacob, but He had rejected Esau!!

Rebekah believed These Words and Gladly Received them in her Heart!!

Now for those of you familiar with this story, You may have a few questions about Rebekah – such as….

Did She really believe God’s Words??

If Rebekah had really believed, why did she grow so impatient with God, taking matters into her hands??

Why did she intervene herself into God’s work, and attempt to usurp His timing??

Good Questions!!

I also had some of my own questions while reading this…I wondered;

Was it Rebekah’s intention all along for Jacob to obtain the rights of the firstborn son, by outwitting an older, stronger Esau – instead of waiting on God??

Is this why Rebekah named and called her second born son (Jacob) Trickster/Supplanter??

Who Knows??

But Let’s Be Real About This!!

Which of Us believers, in our flesh, has not at some point decided that we were hired in by God, as His Personal Assistant- with a Job Description that read:

Candidate must be active and alert to assist God to meet His Project Deadlines!!

Abraham and Sarah had done this when they hired in the housemaid, Hagar to have a son (Ishmael) for them- instead of waiting on God!!

You see, as God’s assistant 🤣😂 Sarah was convinced that God was running late!! And in her old age, she feared that she and Abraham were running out of time!!

Well Rebekah also believed that Jacob’s time was running short for him to acquire Isaac’s blessing, because Isaac was now about 100 years old and had gone blind.

Jacob had already successfully manipulated the birthright from Esau’s hands, but without Isaac’s blessing, Jacob still could not inherit the promised covenant, which was previously established between God and Abraham in Genesis 17.

  • And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.  (Genesis 17:6-7)

You see…Abraham, upon his deathbed blessed Issac, passing on this covenant to his son of ‘the promise,’ Isaac- and not to Ishmael-Abraham’s son of the flesh!!

And now Isaac, possessing the established covenant, will now pass it forward, blessing only one of his two sons.

Now God had promised Rebekah that the blessing was pre-established for Jacob, But her husband, Isaac would have it so that the blessing would be passed on to, and be established through Esau instead.

But Rebekah was not having it!!

You see Rebekah overheard Isaac call for Esau, requesting deer meat for his last meal,’ presuming that he, Isaac would soon be exiting from this world- and passing on to be with his own father, Abraham.

Isaac’s Words to Esau:

  • Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; And make me savory meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die (Genesis 27:3)

Can You See Rebekah Fuming 😡, in response, saying underneath her breath:

satan!! You are a Liar and the Father of All Lies!!

But Not today – and Not in this Tent!!

So this is where an overzealous Rebekah takes matters into her own hand!!

What will Rebekah Do??

Well Neighbor, I will have to brew a whole new Pot of Tea for Us to finish this story…

So come on by again this Friday- because tomorrow is Trivia Thursday and I have some really good questions prepared for you- plus a Bonus!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

God Will Provide the Ram!!

-Then Abraham looked up and glanced around, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering and an ascending sacrifice instead of his son-

(Genesis 22:13)

Hey Neighbor,

God Is So Awesome!!

Look at how He bestows mercy upon Us when We decide to Just believe God and Go-On with Him…

We’ve been reading 1 Samuel Chapter 30 and in verse 11, David’s men ran into a young man, lying in the fields…deathly ill.

Who was he??… Just some Egyptian fellow of no importance…probably just a slave, but David’s men decided to take the young man to David, who instructed them to feed and care for him. Now after this young Man had eaten and had regained his strength, David, concerned about the young man’s welfare inquired about his master.

The young man began to tell David the story of how his master, who was an Amalakite, had abandoned him after he fell sick three days before. He went on to add that his master and his troop had recently attacked and raided several of the Israelite and Philistine camps, including Ziklag, which they had burned.

So Look! This young man was a member of the very same troop that David and his men were seeking out to avenge their families!! I can imagine that at this point…both of David’s ears were tingling…this young man was one of the raiders who had invaded his home and snatched away his wives and children…and now… here David was feeding this wretched fellow and restoring life to his spirit!!

Wow!!

Now, if You know anything about King David, You will know that when an individual comes to David bearing bad news and acknowledging that he had participated in such evil acts against God’s people, David was quick to have one of his men to fall upon that man with the sword…but here we see David practicing restraint…spiritual restraint from the Holy Spirit that was upon him…and he chose to spare this Young man’s life.

David realized that God had strategically placed this young man in the field and he was David’s ram in the thicket. God had provided David with an inside scoop, someone to help him navigate his way to uncover the raiders secret location and to find his family. God had used this young man’s illness and thus his abandonment by his master, to create an enmity between the slave and his Amalakite master, but to also establish an affection for David and his men, who had fed him when he was at death’s doorstep. In his appreciation, the young Egyptian agreed to disclose the location of the raider’s camp to David and lead him directly to the troop.

Now…The Bible tells Us that David was a ‘man after God’s own heart!’ Although David was still distraught over his family, he chose to look past his own pain…and took the time to serve a starving slave…Not realizing that The Lord had miraculously planted this young man in the field to fulfill His promise to David…That he would Recover ALL!!

When David and his men reached the Amalekite camp…there they were…the wicked raiders partying and celebrating because of all the spoil that they had taken. David and his mighty man defeated the Amalekites and regained and reclaimed all that their enemies had stolen . The Lord had given the Amalekites into their hands, just as He had promised and David and his men walked out with ALL that had been stolen…not missing a woman…and not missing a child!!

Look at that…David sowed mercy…by feeding this sick slave…and sparing the life of his young enemy and setting him free from his captivity and therefore…David reaped mercy…God had spared his loved ones lives, freeing them from their captivity, and reuniting his family.

God is Pretty Awesome!!

-So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide – (Genesis 22:14)

-So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulders, and he sent her and the youth away. And she wandered on [aimlessly] and lost her way in the wilderness of Beersheba- (Genesis 21:14)

Hey Neighbor,

What’s Troubling You??

****

Just when She had given up…distancing herself from the boy and placing him under a shrub…fearing that he would be overcome from by the sun and the heat…Ismael’s Mother could not bear to watch him wither away and die from dehydration.

Dear Neighbor,

Our God in Heaven Loves Us!! He Sees Us and knows when We are in trouble and He Already knows Our Fears…Yet, He wants Us to Cry out to Him…realizing that He is Our Refuge, Our Security, and Our Only Hope For the Future.

He wants Us to Pray to Him…telling Him about ALL of Our Troubles…leaving the weight and the burden of our troubles and fears upon his Capable Shoulders…Then He He will hear Us and open Our eyes and fill Our empty vessels with His Living Well of Water…His Holy Spirit!!

And as He moves Us Forward, with A purpose…to His pre-planned destination…He Will fulfill his Promises to Us and makes Us and Our Families into a great nation of people Who Are Blessed…as We Follow Christ!!

Thanks For Visiting, Neighbor.

God Loves You and So Do I!!
