The ‘Blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½Game!!’

– And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate. And the Lord God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled (cheated, outwitted, and deceived) me, and I ate-
(Genesis 3:12)

Hey Neighbor!

Last week (Easter Sunday) I was playing the Blame Game!!

If you can recall, I BlamedšŸ‘‰šŸ½ Jesus for the Victory!!

Here is the 1st post from the ‘Blame Game’ Series from 2014.

Enjoy🤩

****************************************

This is another Story that Joyce Meyer reads at her conferences.
I like this one because, it gives a great representation of…
‘The Blame Game.’

Here’s the Story…

This is a story about Four People named, Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to do and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could’ve done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job.

You See, Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it!

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody, when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

*****************************************

Funny… Huh??

You Know the Blame Game originated in the Garden of Eden.🤣

Eve blamed the šŸ‘‰šŸ½Serpent for beguiling her…

Adam blamed šŸ‘‰šŸ½Eve for sharing the forbidden fruit with him…

And Adam even blamed šŸ‘‰šŸ½God for making the Woman and giving her to him…Lol!!

You see, Adam and Eve Were placed in the Garden with a job to do:

And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
(Genesis 1:28)

So Just like the Four People in today’s story…

Adam Had a Job to do- But, he did’t do it!!

Eve had a job to do- but, she didn’t do it!!

When they failed to do their jobs, following God’s orders – his commands – they blamed one another and even blamed God!!

And the Blame Game Continued from there…

This Week We are going to Discuss some ‘Finger Pointing’ Characters from the Bible…and How they refused to accept responsibility for their own Faith-Failures…While On-the-Job.

Nest Week, We will Discuss the Failures of King Saul…and identify The Who’s, What’s, and Where…Saul pointedšŸ‘‰šŸ½ his finger…placing the blame for his Failure as King of Israel!

Until Then…Remember,

God Loves You and So Do I!!

Trivia Thursday – Name That Prophet!!

Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented, of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. (Heb 11:36-38)

Hey Neighbor!

Normally our trivia questions require us to find our answers in the Bible, but today you have permission to googlešŸ˜‚

The above text comes from the famous chapter in Hebrews (11), that talks about the men and women of faith.

We may easily recognize some of these individuals, as described in the text above, like Stephen; who was martyred via a public stoning at the hands of Saul (Paul), or even King David, who haunted the dens and caves of the earth, while he was eluding the wrath and fury of King Saul.

But who was this guy (prophet) that was sawn in half??

Once again, the Scriptures do not disclose the details of this person’s death; however this individual was believed to have suffered his very painful demise, during the reign of the wicked king, Manasseh.

Can You Name That Prophet??

Nuggets of Wealth For Life and Health – How to Get an Upgrade from God!!

AND JOSEPH was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, the captain and chief executioner of the [royal] guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him down there (Gen 39:1)

Hey Neighbor!

Tam and Kim (30 Pieces of Silver – 4/11/23)

Kim and I were sitting in church on Easter Sunday, when suddenly, we both realized that we were scheduled to do our 30 Pieces of Silver presentation, on Tuesday.

So last night, Kim came over, and we went live with our presentation. Our topic was ā€˜Faith-Full’ Joseph.

For 13 years, Joseph endured great hardships in Egypt.

He was enslaved in Potiphar’s House…

Stalked and Sexually Harassed by Mrs. Potiphar…

Falsely accused of Rape…

And Thrown in Jail!!

Whew 😰

But because Joseph remained Faith-full, through it All, God divinely rewarded him with promotion after promotion, until ultimately, He was promoted to Governor, over all of Egypt!!

Joseph’s 13 years of Hardship and Suffering…was actually a Set-up by God, for Faith-Full Joseph’s Success!!

Faith-Full Man’s Monday Riddle – Who Am I??

Hey Neighbor!

Here is Your ā€˜Faith-Full Monday Man,’ from the Bible!!

Can You Guess Who He Is??

*******************************************

My mother walked about, in humiliation and disgrace

Until the Lord blessed her eyes to behold my precious face

God remembered my mother, and added more fruit to her womb

Two sons she beheld, before my dad placed the pillar on her tomb.

Great in number were my father’s sons, but greater was their loathing and contempt

Peace unto me, they would not speak; as if they were exempt

But my father loved and adored me; so much to the extreme

Favoritism amongst one’s children, is a reoccurring bible theme

It feeds the fury of family disputes and so often, blood is shed

My own spilled not, but a kid was torn; convincing my father that I was dead

Fully expecting to perish in despair; My dad perceived that he would never again, behold my face

Twenty pieces was the cost, that paid my ransom; freeing me from the depths of my brothers’ hate

But forgiveness, the Lord did preserve in my heart; and at our reunion, I joyfully wept

For my father, again, did behold my face; then in peace, with his fathers, he slept

The Easter Blame Game – I BlamešŸ‘‰šŸ½Jesus!!

And the Ever-living One [I am living in the eternity of the eternities]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore; and I possess the keys of death and Hades (the realm of the dead). (Rev 1:18)

Hey Neighbor!

Years ago, I did a series on some Bible characters, found pointing the finger of blame at one another; and that series stirred me up to point my finger at šŸ‘‰šŸ½Jesus.

This Poem was originally a Christimas Poem, but I modified it for Resurrection Sunday.

Here’s My Poem…

***************************************

Look Who’s Playing the Blame Game…Today, on Easter SundayšŸ‘€

I Am!!

I Blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½Jesus for The Victory!!šŸ†

******************************************

God sent His Son to dwell amongst us, here on the earth
I blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½the Holy Spirit for conception, and šŸ‘‰šŸ½Mary for His birth

Her betrothed almost divorced her, before the truth had come about.
I blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½Joseph, to whom Mary was espoused

An angel confirmed to him, ’twas okay to take her to wife.
Their Son would be to us, The Resurrection, and the Life

He’d been sent to us, to Light up the world.
And now I blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½Gabriel for the truth, he unfurled.

Later, Joseph was given, an advanced warning to flee
To escape the wicked king’s assassination decree.

This warning had come, from that same angel they met.
But I blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½Herod for his devilish threat.

Jesus returned to Nazareth, He was yet, safe and sound.
He grew into a man, and twelve disciples He found.

There was Peter and John, amongst those on the list…
But I blamešŸ‘‰šŸ½ Judas for his treacherous kiss.

Jesus became accursed, as He died on a tree.
For those corruptible sins, I blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½ you…and also šŸ‘‰šŸ½me.

But Jesus defeated death; He arose from the grave.
He paid our ransom; because He came here to save

We’d been beguiled and convicted; we were destined to die…
I blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½Eve and šŸ‘‰šŸ½the serpent; that father of lies

But Jesus snatched those keys from Satan, and remove death’s toxic sting

He reigns now in Glory…As Our Heavenly King

If Adam can blame šŸ‘‰šŸ½God, cause in Eden, he sinned.
Then I can blame
šŸ‘‰šŸ½Jesus, for THE VICTORY – WE WIN!!

******************************************

Happy Resurrection Day!!

Jesus Lives!! Yes, He is Aliveā€¼ļø

Thank You Jesus For the Price You Paid and for The Victory We’ve Gained!!

Trivia Thursday – Name That Priest!!

Now there was a day when the sons (the angels) of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (the adversary and accuser) also came among them. (Job 1:6)

Hey Neighbor!

Now last week, on Trivia Thursday, we identified a ā€˜snitch’ from the Bible…who after having been trained-up and tutored by his ā€˜father of lies,’ satan, šŸ˜‚ he made a false accusation against David, and also against The Lord’s High priest, Ahimelech…resulting in 85 additional priests, their wives, children, and all of their livestock, being utterly destroyed.

It seems like satan is always coming after the saints!!

Well after all, he is our most angry, and aggressive adversary…realizing that his time remaining, is short…therefore he aims to accuse us constantly, by both day and night.

The lead scripture above reminds us of that.

In Job 1:6, satan showed up, with the angels, to their meeting w/God…one of which he was not formally invited to, for the specific purpose of making accusations against Job.

Now, we know that that meeting eventually resulted in the loss of Job’s health, as well as his children, his livestock, his maidservants and his menservants, but God did ultimately restore Job’s wealth and fortune, after he (Job) had confessed and repented in dust and ashes.

Now there was another accusation made by satan in the Bible, where his adversarial antics were ā€˜exposed’ via a vision…and witnessed by the prophet…where satan was seen, standing at the right hand of the Lord’s High Priest…opposing him, and accusing him of ā€˜uncleanliness,’ until finally, satan’s accusatory lips were zipped 🤐and silenced by the Lord’s rebuke!!āš”ļø

Now this particular high priest stood before The Angel of The Lord, as a representative of a ā€˜priestly brand’ which God had mercifully saved from the fire; however the filth and ā€˜soot of sin,’ as well as the trespasses and iniquities of the priesthood, still ā€˜remained and stained’ his priestly garments.

**********************************************

Can You Name This Priest??

Trivia Thursday – Name That Snitch!!

And a young man ran to Moses and said, Eldad and Medad are prophesying [sounding forth the praises of God and declaring His will] in the camp. Joshua son of Nun, the minister of Moses, one of his chosen men, said, My lord Moses, forbid them (Numbers11:27)

Hey Neighbor!

In many urban neighborhoods, there is a notorious saying, that ā€˜Snitches get Stitches!’

Have you heard It??

Well, in not so many words, if You run to go tell on me, you might, potentially suffer some painful consequences.šŸ¤•šŸ©¼

Now several months ago, we uncovered a ā€˜jealous’ snitch in the book of Numbers, as shown in our lead scripture; where a young, ā€˜minister-in-training,’ Joshua, ran to go tell Moses of how Eldad and Medad, were prophesying, inside of the camp.

Here’s that Trivia-Riddle, where Joshua was exposed as our ā€˜snitch.’

https://carenrcinesl.wordpress.com/2022/06/30/trivia-thursday-riddle-who-am-i/

And The Solution/Answers to that weeks Riddle:

https://carenrcinesl.wordpress.com/2022/07/02/solution-saturday-answer-joshua/

Now, Moses quickly ā€˜squashed’ all that Eldad/Medad drama, which was actually due to a young Joshua’s ā€˜jealousy’ and/or his reverence for Moses; and where he (Joshua) assumed that Eldad and Medad were disrespecting Moses’ authority in the camp.

And, quite fortunately, there were no later consequences due young Joshua, for having snitched!!šŸ˜‚

But there were indeed consequences for another snitch, in a subsequent Book of The Bible.🫣

Why??

Well, this dishonest, and mischievous snitch, went and told on David, after realizing that David was on the run…and as he (David) was seeking refuge from a raving mad, King Saul.

Now later in this particular (Book) story, David remembered that our ā€˜snitch’ had been spying šŸ•µļøā€ā™‚ļø on him that day…and David even discloses to the reader, that he (David) knew that something was about to go down, after he (David) had been spied out (by our snitch.)

Now David does not tell us if this ā€˜Snitch got his Stitches’ in that particular story!!šŸ˜‚

But ultimately, David did write a ā€˜song’ about it; where he revealed to us, how the Lord avenged this dastardly betrayal against His anointed, (David) and also how The Lord did forever ā€˜stitch’ up the lying lips of this mischievous snitch!!🤐

*******************************************

Can You place a Name on our ā€˜snitch,’ and Can you quote the ā€˜song’ šŸŽ¼ that David šŸŽ¤ composed about the ultimate demise of this deceitful ā€˜snitch.ā€™āš°ļø

Trivia Tuesday – Who Was #2 Guy on the Sanhedrin’s ā€˜Hit-list??’ 🄷

IT WAS now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes were all the while seeking to arrest [Jesus] by secrecy and deceit and put [Him] to death (Mark 14:1)

Hey Neighbor!

In the Scripture above, we see where the chief priests and the scribes, were all plotting and planning to kill Jesus.

Plotting + Planning = Workā€¼ļø

Well, I guess these weirdos didn’t consider plotting and planning together, as work🤣

They claimed that Jesus’ healing the bruised and the broken on the Sabbath, was unlawful, but their meeting, plotting and planning must have been equivalent to resting, in their carnal, distorted thinking.

Anyway, so these characters wanted Jesus taken out🄷

Jesus was #1 on their ā€˜hit list,’ and we know that they hired that thieving, deceiving, Judas to be their accomplice, and to help carry forth their wicked plan.

But besides Jesus, these blood-thirsty, assassins had another guy on their ā€˜hit list.’

This guy’s name fell in the #2 spot on their hit list…and it wasn’t PeteršŸ˜‚ā€¦and John was already dead, having been beheaded by Herod.

Still this #2 guy’s very life, validated (in their minds) that Jesus was a real threat to their ā€˜seats of power.’

And therefore, these two men must both be killed!!

*******************************************

Can You Name This # 2 guy, on the Sanhedrin’s Hit List??

Faith-Full Man’s Monday Riddle – Who Am I??

Hey Neighbor!

So many of the walking, talking, breathing characters in the Bible were flawed and at times, they did succumb to ā€˜faith-failures’…just like You and I!!

But when God re-establishes His first place our in our lives, and regains our ā€˜focus,’ His mighty power can still prevail within us.

Here is Your ā€˜Faith-Full’ Monday Man, from the Scriptures!!

Can you guess Who He Is??

Have Funā€¼ļø

*****************************************

I can still recall the day when my eyes did first offend,

I should have been blinded then, gouging out the ā€˜lust-filled’ temptation to sin

Upon Her doorstep, I should have never placed my foot

Her slippery tongue turns the hearts of men to fiery ashes and soot

Consecrated was my head, but not my eyes nor my heart; Yes!! That’s how I failed

But God, in His mercy, permitted his Spirit upon me, at times, to powerfully prevail

When my eyes were no longer focused on the lustful desire for things beautiful, and for things unclean, that appeared ā€˜sweet’

That’s when the fervor of God, burned in my heart to bring down my enemy’s house, in a great and mighty defeat

Trivia Thursday – Name That Midnight Move!!

But at midnight there was a shout, Behold, the bridegroom! Go out to meet him (Matthew 25:6)

Hey Neighbor!

No man may know the day nor the hour when our Lord and Savior shall return, but we do know that we shall be changed in a twinkling of an eye.

Now in the parable above, The bridegroom came for his bride at midnight, i.e. in the middle of the night, which reminds me of a song where the narrator speaks and declares that, ā€œGod moves at midnight!ā€

So as I sat and thought about that, I was reminded of at least two occasions where God ā€˜Saved’ the ā€˜day’ šŸ˜‚ā€¦When He showed up at the stroke of Midnight, to set the captives free.

*******************************************

Can You recall an occasion, in the Bible, where God moved at Midnight??
