Today is Wednesday, and Here is Your Nugget for this week…June 22, 2022.
Today’s nugget will hopefully benefit those who are battling skin eruptions and/or acne.
I learned about the benefits of probiotics for skin eruptions many years ago, when my daughter, Allie was diagnosed with eczema.
We learned that Allie had many food allergies/sensitivities, which were the major cause for her breakouts.
Another contributing factor was Allie’s infrequent bowel movements. She should have been having at least one bowel movement/day, but she was only going about every 4 days or so, and therefore…her bowels were impacted.
Thank God for Probiotics!!
A daily probiotic or two, taken 30 minutes- 1 hour prior to her first meal of the day, was the trick..along with a fleet enema…and a little castor oil!!
This got things moving!!
Now Tam…Why 1 hour prior to the first meal??
Because, in order for your probiotics to be most effective, they really need to be able to survive the stomach’s acid, so that they can be absorbed into your gut/colon.
At this point, the probiotics can and will stimulate the cleansing of the bowels…and as your intestinal balance is restored, you will notice that you are much more ‘regular.’
In fact, you might be quite surprised to see just how much ‘poop’ was trapped in your colon!!
Once the bowel is cleansed, and the good/bad bacteria is restored in the gut, all of that excess waste material, and their associated toxins, will no longer be available in the gut to recycle their toxins into your blood stream…taxing your already overworked liver!!
Also, don’t forget that a digestive enzyme taken with your meals can still be very beneficial to help control outbreaks…and don’t forget that there are many natural digestive aids…like mint, ginger, and/or apple cider vinegar (with the ‘mother.’)

Many of you may find that by adding probiotics into your morning regimen, and utilizing digestive enzymes/aids, you may experience fewer headaches, less trouble with skin outbreaks/acne, and you may even have fewer complaints about body aches and pain.

Magnesium can be a game changer for many who suffer with what I call ‘-itis.’ This is simply pain and inflammation in the body!!
